06.12.24: Arrival in Bratislava
Arrival at Vienna airport. Transfer to hotel in Bratislava. Check in at the hotel. At evening meeting with the guide and visit of Bratislava’s Christmas Markets. Overnight in Bratislava.
07.12.24: Bratislava Grand City Tour
Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Meeting with English speaking guide and start of 3 hours Bratislava Grand City Tour – 1 hour by car and 2 hours walking tour. We will discover the main highlights of Bratislava. Start with panorama city tour, we will pass along the iconic Blue Church of Bratislava, continue along the Danube river to Presidential Palace, beautiful district of Palisady full of villas built in style of functionalism, enjoying the breathtaking view from Slavin Monument on Bratislava and the panorama tour ends in courtyards of majestic Bratislava Castle. The second part of the tour consist of walking tour of historical city center, which includes also the Bratislava Christmas Markets. Afternoon free time in Bratislava. Overnight in Bratislava.
08.12.24: Trnava, Cicmany & Zilina
Buffet breakfast the hotel. Departure to the “Little Rome of Slovakia” – city of Trnava full of churches, cathedrals, and monasteries, walking tour of Trnava. Continue to “Gingerbread” village Cicmany, following stop in Rajecka Lesna, a pilgrimage site, where is located the biggest Slovakian wooden Bethlehem, showing the customs and landscape of Slovakia. Possible to stop in luxurious SPA Aphrodite Rajecke Teplice – bath in healing warm mineral water. Continue to Zilina, and overnight.
09.12.24: Orava, Terchova & Zilina
Buffet breakfast the hotel. Walking tour of historical city center of Zilina. Continue to “Dracula Castle” – Orava Castle. Visit of wooden protestant church in Lestiny (UNESCO) and traditional Slovakian village Terchova (UNESCO) with beautiful nature. Prior arrival at the hotel, traditional Slovakian Christmas Dinner in stylish hunting restaurant. Return to Zilina and overnight.
10.12.24: Trencin & Small Carpathian Wine Route
Buffet breakfast the hotel. Departure to Trencin, visit of monumental Trencin Castle and historical city center of Trencin. Continue to Small Carpathian Wine Route, entrance to romantic Red Stone Castle. Visit of wine towns Modra & Pezinok. Possible to have a small wine tasting of local organic wines. Arrival in Bratislava. Overnight in Bratislava.
11.12.24: Departure from Bratislava
Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Transfer from the hotel to Vienna airport. Flight back home.
